Certified Food Safety HACCP Manager Workshop & Exam

D. L. Newslow and Associates, Inc. is proud to be one of the premier companies offering the Food Safety HACCP Manager Exam developed by skilled, subject matter experts utilized by NRFSP. This exam is scheduled throughout the year, usually in conjunction with our HACCP workshops but also as a standalone review and test.  The review portion is 1 ½ days with the 2 hour exam immediately following the completion of the review portion.   Attendees may also choose to purchase an exam voucher that can be used at any of the 1600 Pierson Vue testing sites located throughout the U.S. and Canada.

The training provides a comprehensive review of basic HACCP requirements as related to Codex, GFSI approved food safety management schemes, food safety standards, and the FDA Food Code. Achieving the Certified HACCP Manager level of competence (by passing the NRFSP exam) is an excellent demonstration of competency for the food safety management system programs, regulatory HACCP and FSMA requirements. Participants that successfully pass this exam receive a Food Safety HACCP Manager Certificate suitable for framing and a wallet card to carry with them.  Exam results along with the certificates, for those who take this exam at our training center in Orlando and pass, are available within an hour of everyone completing the test.

NRFSP encourages anyone interested in taking this exam to attend a couple HACCP workshops, a review session as well as have actual HACCP work experience before taking this exam.

Self-study is not recommended, unless combined with training workshops!!!

Students are encouraged to purchase one or all of the following study guides: Food Safety Management Principles, HACCP for Food Manufacturing, SURE HACCP Food Safety Manager Manual and Debby Newslow’s latest book: Food Safety Management Programs: Applications, Best Practices and Compliance. Each of these books is available on our website and are excellent resources for preparing for the test and to have on hand for future reference.  Additional training material is provided during the workshop which is yours to keep and is included in the price of the workshop.

Who Will Benefit

Food safety managers, food safety/HACCP team leaders, food safety team members, QA personnel, line managers, or anyone working in food safety at manufacturing plants, processing plants, food service establishments, distribution centers, food packing, or warehouses, that is required to register with the FDA or anybody with HACCP and food safety experience that wants to become a certified HACCP Manager. This workshop provides a great foundation for increasing the attendees’ competency to deal with food safety management programs, GFSI approved schemes, and basic HACCP Program requirements. This is crucial when considering the current focus on food safety and upcoming FSMA requirements.

What You Will Learn

  • Review of the basics of Food Safety and HACCP based on Codex, GFSI approved FS schemes, and second party food safety standards
  • Review FDA Food Code requirements (based on the food code correlated to the exam)
  • Common-sense applications and solutions resulting from instructor’s experience are invaluable

Registration Information

This exam is offered at our professional training facility located at 7680 Universal Blvd., Suite 550, Orlando, FL 32819 and can even be offered at your site.  The total cost for the HACCP review (1.5 days) and the NRFSP exam (2 hrs) is $650. The cost for the two hour exam only is $175 (no classroom review or discussion).
