Dennis Sasseville
Management Systems Specialist
Dennis Sasseville is a member of the D. L. Newslow & Associates's team of subject matter experts with special emphasis on ISO 14001, ISO 9001, and OHSAS 18001. He has over 40 years experience as an environmental management consultant. He has extensive experience with Environmental Management Systems (EMS), Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) performance improvements, Quality Management Systems, Management Consulting and sustainability services. Previously, Mr. Sasseville was a Senior Manager in the ISO Management Systems practice and the Environmental Advisory Practice of the global consulting firm KPMG, LLP. While at KPMG, he served as the firm’s U.S. representative for the International Sustainability Network (ISN) and as an advisor to the firm’s Integrity Management Practice. As a Lead Auditor in the ISO Registration practice of KPMG, he registered over 50 facilities to the ISO 14001 standard.
Dennis is a founding member and instructor at UNH Whittemore School of Business Institute for Corporate Sustainability’s certificate program. He is an adjunct professor and teaches courses in Sustainable Development in the undergraduate program.
He is an RABQSA EMS Lead Auditor, a CSR Advisor, a member of ASTM’s E-60 committee on Sustainability, and an author of several John Wiley and Sons books on environmental management. Dennis is currently with Cobalt Advisors located in Bedford, NH. He advises corporations and federal agencies nationally. His client sectors include: food and beverage, electric utilities, manufacturing, and consumer goods. He speaks frequently at conferences and workshops all over the U.S. He also writes for many leading publications and is quite a published author.
